A new way of accommodation in short-term rental, with 94 small apartments, is in the capital's centre.

Gnosis Investments, a private real estate investment and management company, undertook to implement the Radisson RED Mitropoleos Square Athens, and Epacron SA, one of the leaders in the construction field, was selected for the project's construction.

Radisson RED Mitropoleos Square Athens, which will be operational at the start if of 2024, will change the form of an existing office building, as it will create 94 small apartments with a kitchen, 150 sq.m. meeting space and gym. On the ground floor of the building, there will be a restaurant with a view of Mitropoleos Square, while the rooftop bar - a restaurant on the top floor, will have a view of the Acropolis.

"The project covers the existing gap in the Greek market while at the same time opening the way for new investments from funds. The project will consolidate Radisson Hotel Group's position in Greece while our development strategy continues with the immediate goal of making the company one of the most powerful players in the international market. We thank our partners for their trust," said Elie Milky, Vice President of Development of the Radisson Hotel Group.

Radisson RED Mitropoleos Square Athens will be Radisson Hotel Group’s third property in the Greek capital, in addition to the Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens and the Social Athens Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals.

Radisson has also announced another opening on Theatrou Square, bringing the number of its hotels in the Greek capital to four.
