Greek flag carrier Aegean Airlines completed its neo-era branding on Monday, October 23, by launching new uniforms for its captains, cabin crew, and ground staff. The airline has partnered with distinguished internationally-recognized Greek brands to create its new brand image and show off its fresh style.

Inspired by the Greek nature

Aegean's new look was presented in collaboration with Greece's renowned fashion company Zeus+Δione. The uniforms were designed by the Creative Director Marios Schwab to match the airline's neo-era vision and image by including fundamental elements, codes, and symbols.

With Greece's admirable natural beauty, the creative director did not have to look far to seek inspiration for the new design. Inspired by the appeal of the Greek sea and sky, Zeus+Δione created a collection of outfits representing a perfect balance between Greek heritage and the national carrier's neo-era philosophy. They also focus on diversity and inclusion, ultimately supporting Aegean's commitment to improving the passenger experience as well as its crew's comfort.

Marios Schwab's proposal presents a wide range of options, combining unique pieces to form a dynamic collage in the crew's attire. The uniform's outline is emphasized with attached neck scarves, geometric asymmetries, and contrasting linear accents that highlight "the garment's structural finesse."

Flying in style

Beyond rocking the new uniforms, the crew's new style is completed with modern make-up by the Greek cosmetic brand KORRES. The company has pioneered natural beauty products for nearly three decades and, together with Aegean, presents the modern make-up "where the natural beauty and uniqueness of each woman is highlighted."

KORRES' products and make-up collection have a long-lasting professional effect that will guarantee the crew's elegance and appearance during flight and work hours. Over the years, all three brands have successfully represented modern Greece worldwide and have finally come together to create a new image for the national carrier.

Passengers flying on Aegean from October 23 can spot members of the flight, cabin, and ground crew in their new uniforms, embodying the spirit of the company's neo-era. As of October 24, the airline has flown to several domestic and international destinations, including Athens (ATH), Thessaloniki (SKG), Santorini (JTR), Berlin (BER), London (LHR), and Marrakesh (RAK).

Aegean Neo-era

Aegean Airlines has been around for nearly 25 years and is now responsible for flying millions of passengers to about 165 destinations. It currently has a fleet of 60 aircraft, including 16 Airbus A320neos and 12 A321neos. The carrier received its first A320neo in December 2019, seven months after celebrating its 20th birthday.

Shortly after, in February 2020, the company officially entered its neo-era, unveiling a new brand inspired by Greece's blue backdrop, historical architecture, and the design heritage of the country. It included a new identity, livery, and cabin to symbolize Aegean's sustainable and dynamic future.
