Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Giorgos Kotsiras declared the Greek language the central pillar of a strategic plan to engage Greeks Abroad and the wider diaspora. In an interview with ERT, he emphasized the groundbreaking nature of the four-year roadmap designed to bolster ties with this global community. This initiative underscores the coordinated approach taken by the Kyriakos Mitsotakis government towards connecting with Hellenism around the world.

Kotsiras specifically highlighted the importance of the language learning platform "staellinika.com" for young Greek expatriates. He announced its expansion to include German and French, joining English and Spanish options. This platform provides an accessible and engaging portal for young learners to embark on their journey with the Greek language. He further detailed plans to enhance the platform by incorporating artificial intelligence in the near future.

Addressing the issue of postal voting, Kotsiras urged Greek opposition parties to support its implementation in national elections. He framed this as fulfilling a long-standing desire for Hellenism across the globe.

Furthermore, Kotsiras announced a series of events scheduled for February 9, the Day of the Greek Language, to be held in nearly all Greek embassies worldwide. These initiatives aim to showcase the profound significance of the Greek language to Hellenism, acting both as a vehicle for cultural expression and a bridge for international connections.
