Don't Forget! Set Clocks Forward One Hour This Sunday in Greece

Daylight saving time is in effect from early Sunday morning – Clock hands are one hour ahead

The clocks will go forward one hour on the morning of Sunday (31/03), so that from 03:00 a.m., they will show 04:00 a.m., as daylight saving time comes into effect until the last Sunday of October, according to Directive 2000/84 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of 19 January 2001.

Therefore, on the morning of Sunday, the clocks will need to be moved forward one hour, from 03:00 a.m. to 04:00 a.m.

A relevant announcement issued by the competent Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport states the following: "We remind you that on Sunday, March 31, 2024, the application of the winter time measure ends, in accordance with Directive 2000/84 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19/01/2001, concerning the provisions for winter time. The clocks must be moved forward one hour, from 03:00 a.m. to 04:00 a.m."
