Athens Street Food Festival: Gastronomic Extravaganza in Gazi Starts Today

Get ready for three days of delectable street food and vibrant music as the Athens Street Food Festival kicks off today at the Old OSY depot in Gazi.

Since its inception in 2016, May has become synonymous with the Athens Street Food Festival, drawing in food enthusiasts from across the country. The festival has transformed the landscape of Greek gastronomy, showcasing the latest trends in street food culture.

Over the course of three weekends in May (10-12, 17-19, 24-26), visitors will embark on a culinary journey, sampling an array of flavours from around the globe. From Vietnam to Mexico, Japan to Greece, the festival's pop-up shops will offer unique and imaginative dishes crafted by established and up-and-coming chefs.

Among this year's lineup of culinary talents are three renowned chefs leading the Greek food renaissance: Alexandros Tsiotini and Gregory Kiki, both recipients of Michelin stars, and Madame Ginger.

But it's not just about the food – music and entertainment are integral parts of the festival experience. Each day, renowned radio producers will set the mood, while evenings will come alive with energetic DJ sets starting at 9:00 PM. Additionally, on Friday, May 10, attendees can look forward to a special meet & greet session with the beloved comedian Alexandros Tsouvelas.
