Fatal Shooting in Athens: New Details Emerge

New details have emerged concerning the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man in the Vyronas area of Athens last night, specifically at the junction of Messologiou and Tsaldari streets. According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred around 9:30 PM in St. Lazarus Square.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing three gunshots as a motorbike carrying two individuals approached a Mercedes car occupied by the victim, identified as an Albanian national, and a female companion. The victim, who was fatally shot, was inside the car, which belonged to his female companion.

One eyewitness, the owner of a nearby shop, recounted stepping outside upon hearing the commotion to witness a woman screaming as she opened the car door.

Law enforcement authorities are considering various scenarios, including the possibility that the victim may have had unresolved matters in Albania, where he is believed to have visited recently during Easter. The shooting took place near the couple's residence, and reports indicate that the female companion of the victim fainted during the incident.
