Eurovision 2024: Committees Didn't Favor Marina Satti's "Zari," But the Public Loved It

In the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, the Greek entry "Zari" performed by Marina Satti did not fare well with the jury committees, finishing in 14th place with only 41 points. However, the song resonated much better with the public, securing 8th place in the overall public vote with 85 points.

The winner of Eurovision 2024 was Croatia's "Rim Tim Tagi Dim" by Baby Lasagna, which collected 547 points. Ukraine's "Teresa & Maria" by Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil took the bronze medal with 453 points.

Jury Voting:
In the jury voting, Greece's "Zari" received points from 8 countries:

  • Albania: 7 points
  • Cyprus: 7 points
  • Armenia: 4 points
  • France: 4 points
  • Serbia: 3 points
  • Norway: 2 points
  • Slovenia: 2 points

Public Voting:
The public, on the other hand, seemed to have a much more favorable opinion of "Zari." In the public vote, Greece finished 8th with 85 points, receiving votes from 21 countries:

It's clear that while the jury committees were not as impressed with "Zari," the song resonated strongly with the Eurovision audience, who propelled it to an impressive 8th place finish in the public vote.
