In a disturbing incident of domestic violence, a 76-year-old woman in Kypseli was savagely beaten by her 43-year-old son, who also attempted to set her on fire using oil.
The attack occurred at the woman’s residence on Baltinon Street, leaving her with severe injuries to her body and face. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment, while the perpetrator was apprehended by the police.
Following his arrest, the man underwent a psychiatric evaluation and was subsequently admitted to a psychiatric clinic.
