The group, comprising 57 men and one woman, arrived at dawn and is set to be transferred to a temporary accommodation facility in Heraklion later today.
Authorities report that the majority of the migrants identified themselves as Egyptian nationals, with a smaller number claiming to be from Sudan. The arrival marks another instance of migrant landings on Crete, a trend that has seen increased activity in recent months.
