Sunny Skies Across Greece with Slight Temperature Dip on October 29

Greece will enjoy predominantly clear weather today, Wednesday, October 29, with plenty of sunshine but a minor drop in temperatures across most of the country, according to the latest forecast from the National Meteorological Service (EMY).

Visibility may be locally reduced, particularly in western regions during the early morning and evening hours. Winds in the west and north will be variable and light, while in the east they will blow from northerly directions at 3 to 5 Beaufort, temporarily reaching up to 6 Beaufort locally in the southern Aegean.

Temperatures will see a small decrease, peaking at 19–21°C in the north, 23–24°C in the Dodecanese and Crete, and 21–23°C in the rest of the country.

Regional Breakdown:

- Macedonia and Thrace: Generally clear. Variable light winds. Temperatures from 9°C to 21°C (3–4°C lower in western Macedonia).

- Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, and Western Peloponnese: Mostly clear with a few clouds, occasionally increasing in the south. Variable winds 3–4 Beaufort. Temperatures from 13°C to 22°C (3–4°C lower in inland Epirus).

- Thessaly, Eastern Sterea, Evia, and Eastern Peloponnese: Generally clear with occasional clouds in the south. Variable light winds in the north; northerly-northeasterly 3–4 Beaufort elsewhere. Temperatures from 10°C to 23°C.

- Cyclades and Crete: Clear skies. Northerly winds 3–5 Beaufort, briefly 5–6 Beaufort in eastern areas during midday and afternoon. Temperatures from 17°C to 24°C.

- Eastern Aegean Islands and Dodecanese: Clear weather. Northerly winds 3–5 Beaufort, temporarily 5–6 Beaufort in southern parts midday and afternoon. Temperatures from 19°C to 24°C (2–3°C lower in the north).

- Attica: Mostly clear with brief midday clouds. Variable winds 3–4 Beaufort. Temperatures from 14°C to 23°C.

- Thessaloniki: Clear skies. Variable light winds. Temperatures from 10°C to 20°C.
