Costeen Hatzi Confirms Australian Open Return After Nick Kyrgios Breakup: "Excited for a New Light

Greek Australian Costeen Hatzi is set to attend the Australian Open in Melbourne, sharing her excitement about experiencing the Grand Slam "in a new light" following her breakup with Nick Kyrgios.

The 25-year-old influencer revealed the news during a recent Instagram Stories Q&A session with her followers. When asked if she planned to be at the tournament, she replied: "Yes, absolutely! I’m heading off at the end of this week and can’t wait to experience the AO in a new light."

This comes several months after Hatzi and Kyrgios ended their four-year relationship. The split, which occurred amicably earlier in 2025 (first reported in May by outlets like the Herald Sun), saw the couple go their separate ways quietly. In previous statements, Hatzi described the breakup as the relationship simply having "run its course."

"We haven’t spoken. Relationships come to an end," she shared candidly. "I believe it’s for the best. I definitely entered the relationship with pure intentions." She added that she loved Kyrgios and felt they had a strong connection, but the change has allowed her to prioritise herself: "Now that I’m not travelling, I can do what I want and be fully present."

While tennis remains part of the plan, Hatzi's trip will emphasize fashion and collaborations. "I’m going with some incredible Australian fashion and beauty brands — and, of course, watching a little tennis too!" she explained.

During the same Q&A, Hatzi named fellow tennis WAG Hannah Dal Sasso as the one she sees most often. "I love them all. All beautiful people, but I see Hannah the most as she’s in Aus with me," she said. Dal Sasso, who previously dated Thanasi Kokkinakis (with their reported split occurring in late 2024 after about 18 months together), remains a close friend in the local scene.

Hatzi's return to the Australian Open highlights her continued interest in the sport and its community, even post-relationship, as she embraces new opportunities both on and off the court.
