In a tragic turn of events, a 75-year-old woman was found dead in Thessaloniki’s Thermaic Gulf on Thursday morning. Retrieved near the German Consulate after a passerby spotted her around 7:30 a.m., authorities believe she fell into the sea from the wooden deck after feeling unwell. Despite swift response from the Coast Guard, she was pulled from the water lifeless and later pronounced dead at Agios Dimitrios Hospital.
