Arthur Leggett, a Battle of Crete survivor and Western Australia’s oldest WWII prisoner of war, passed away at 106 on April 6, 2025. Captured by German forces, he endured over four years as a POW before dedicating his life to veterans’ advocacy and education, earning an OAM and leaving a lasting legacy in his community.
