Kuwait Airways returns to Greece after over 20 years, with fixed and continuous flights throughout the year, two every week, every Tuesday and Saturday (Kuwait-Athens, Athens-Kuwait).

Kuwait Airways, one of the most important airlines of the Arabian Gulf, returned to Greece in 2022 with flights to Mykonos from June to September. This year, for the same period, the company added flights to Santorini and in June flew for the first time to Athens.

In September this year, the airline decided to continue the flights all year round with the aim of being a bridge between Greece and the Far East, in addition to attracting high-income visitors, opening a new market for Greek tourism and giving the opportunity for Greeks get to know Kuwait.

The Athens-Kuwait flight has a duration of 4 hours and the cost of the ticket is around 320 euros for the economy class which offers larger, more comfortable seats and allows two hand luggage of 23 kg each, which is a special privilege especially for those traveling to distant destinations or for several days.

Mideast Travel, which has a long-standing partnership with Kuwaiti travel agencies, has taken over as the general agent of Kuwait Airways. By combining their expertise and networks, combined with the services of the travel market, the two companies offer the public and the Greek travel market a wider range of options, throughout the journey.

Adonis Georgiadis with his post on Twitter points out that he had put the issue on the discussion table during his official visit to Kuwait when he was Minister of Development.
