A 47-year-old doctor in Pieria has been arrested and charged with molesting his 4-year-old daughter in his car. The accused denies the charges against him.
The authorities are awaiting the results of a forensic examination, as the 4-year-old has been examined by a child psychologist. A forensic medical examination has also been ordered, as well as the results of the examination of biological material collected by the authorities from the accused's car.
The investigation began after a complaint was made to the "Smile of the Child" charity via an anonymous call, reporting the possible sexual abuse of a girl by a man, who was possibly her father.
The 47-year-old was found outside his home in Thessaly. The child's mother filed a complaint against him, as she alleged that he returned the minor at a different time than he was supposed to according to their divorce agreement.
A mobile phone was found in the possession of the 47-year-old and was confiscated for forensic examination.
