Acropolis Museum Hosts Slovenian President and Dignitaries for Exhibition Finale

On Monday, the Acropolis Museum welcomed the President of the Republic of Slovenia Mrs Nataša Pirc Musar who was accompanied by Professor Nikolaos Stampolidis, the museum's Director General.

President Musar was treated to a guided tour of the museum's permanent collection, followed by a visit to the temporary exhibition titled "INSIGHTS: Personifications and Allegories from Antiquity to Today."

The exhibition, graced by the presence of Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, provided a unique insight into ancient themes and their contemporary relevance.

Subsequently, the two Presidents joined a gathering hosted by the Acropolis Museum's Board of Directors and the Antonios E. Komninos Foundation, a significant contributor to the INSIGHTS exhibition. The dinner celebrated the conclusion of the exhibition, marking its success and impact on the cultural landscape.

Among the guests were Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni, Hellenic Parliament President Konstantinos Tasoulas, former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, and prominent figures from various sectors including culture, shipping, and business.
