The 37th Antipodes Greek Festival returns to Melbourne’s Lonsdale Street from February 22nd to 23rd, 2025! This two-day street party celebrates everything Greek, from souvlaki and loukoumades to Zorba and ouzo.
Lonsdale Street will be transformed into a pedestrian-only zone filled with food and retail stalls, live performances, and cultural activities. Enjoy the aroma of lamb on the spit and savor Greek delicacies like gyros, halloumi, and traditional sweets.

New this year:
- Celebrity Chef Cooking Demonstrations: Featuring chefs like ex-Masterchef contestant Philip Vakos of Bahari the Hellenic Plate, showcasing their takes on classic Greek dishes.
- Silent Disco: Get your groove at the festival’s first-ever silent disco.
- Zorba Till You Drop: Test your endurance in this dance competition with the grand prize of return flights to Greece!
Musical highlights include leading Greek musician Rena Morfi’s headline performance on Saturday night and the return of popular trio Xylourides on Sunday night.

A ticketed cocktail party, with food by Olive and Thyme Catering and drinks from Hellenic Wines & Spirits, will take place Saturday night on a balcony overlooking the festival.
