Britain’s Culture Secretary Culture Secretary Michelle Donelan says restoring the Sculptures to their homeland of Greece would only serve to spark a wave of further demands for the return of other ancient artefacts that are currently also held in Britain. “Where does that end?” she asks.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ speech to the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis addresses the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, opening by saying that he believes that “in spite of the pain and the disruption brought about by this horrible disease, there are real reasons to be optimistic.” In his speech Mitsotakis also conveys messages about what he refers to as “acute climate crisis” as well as Greece’s relations with Turkey.
