Stelios Kympouropoulos was born on 9th July 1985 in Athens, Greece and diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy at the age of 14 months. He is a Greek psychiatrist and politician of the New Democracy party who has been serving as a Member of the European Parliament since the 2019 elections.
