Tagliatelle with feta cheese and egg

This delicious pasta dish has very familiar, simple, and full-of-flavour ingredients, such as feta cheese, olive oil, and egg. It is one of the best pasta dishes we have ever eaten.

Materials:

500 gr. tagliatelle
250 gr. soft feta
180 ml fresh milk
One large egg
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. of extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp. butter
black pepper, freshly ground
salt

For serving

Four eggs, boiled
black pepper, freshly ground
2 tsp. Grated nutmeg, optional

Procedure

Step 1

Boil the tagliatelle in plenty of salted water. In the blender, puree the milk and feta cheese until they become like cream. Add the egg, nutmeg, white pepper, olive oil, and salt, and continue beating for 10 minutes. Drain the tagliatelle but set aside some of the boiled water.

Step 2

Heat the butter in a large pan, add the tagliatelle and pour the feta sauce over them. Stir until the sauce thickens, adding some of the boiled water, and add freshly ground pepper.

Step 3

Serve the tagliatelle by putting a whole egg on each plate and sprinkling with some grated nutmeg and freshly ground pepper.
