Greek Australian fitness queen Kayla Itsines has revealed her go-to meal for either lunch or dinner, which is packed with protein, nutrients and carbs.

“This is something that my sister and I had for dinner all the time as kids, and I still love it to this day!” Kayla posted to her 12.7 million followers.
The traditional Greek dish – yiros or gyro- is made by filling fluffy, fresh pita bread with tomato, lettuce, onion, shredded lettuce and a type of meat – such as lamb, pork or chicken.
“The thing I love about yiros (a part from the fact that it is a delicious meal and it reminds me of my childhood) is that it is actually really BALANCED,” she said.
“It contains a mix of protein, vegetables and carbs, so it fills you up while also helping you to get your vegetable intake up!”
