A violent incident unfolded today, Wednesday 3rd April, at noon in Saroko Square, Corfu, when a teenager injured three people with a knife.
Local media outlets report that the perpetrator, a juvenile, stabbed a 14-year-old, a 17-year-old, and a 49-year-old passerby who rushed to aid the victims.
The perpetrator fled the scene but was apprehended by police shortly afterward.
Emergency responders transported the injured parties to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving medical attention. Fortunately, preliminary assessments suggest that their injuries are not life-threatening.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
